Drink Your Way to Health and Happiness
Fresh Homemade Chocolate Milk
1/2 cup Raw Cacao Nibs
1 cup raw almonds or Brazil Nuts (soaked overnight)
2-3 cups pure water
2 tbsp Raw Agave Nectar
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Blend/Grind Cacao Beans to a powder. Place in your blender along with Almonds (washed and drained), the water, Agave Nectar and vanilla extract. Blend for about 5 minutes until smooth. Pour milk slowly into a Nut Milk Bag or a colander lined with 2 layers of cheesecloth and place this over a large bowl and strain. Store the finished milk in an airtight container in your fridge for 3-4 days.
Berry Energizing Smoothie
1 cup frozen banana
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 cup blueberries
Distilled water to desired consistency
Honey or Agave Nectar (add to taste)
2 Tbs Flaxseed Oil
Place all content in the blender. Add sweetener to taste. Add distilled water and mix until the desired consistence is reached.
Fresh Almond Milk
1 cup raw Almonds
2 cups pure water
3 tbsp Raw Agave Nectar
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Soak the nuts overnight. Place in your food processor or blender along with the water, if desired. Zoom for a minimum of 5 minutes. Use a Nut Milk Bag or line a colander with 2 layers of cheesecloth and place this over a large bowl. When the nut milk is finished blending, pour it slowly into the colander and allow it to strain. Stir in the Agave Nectar and vanilla extract. Store the finished milk in an airtight container in your fridge for 4 or 5 days. Dry the leftover almond pulp in dehydrator @ 110 degrees for about 8 hours. Store dried pulp in airtight container in the refrigerator. Use to make your own Almond flour by simply blending in dry blender.
Go-Go Goji Drink
1/4 Cup Tibetan Goji Berries – soaked (for 30mins or more)
2 Tbs Agave Nectar
1/2 Cup Peaches – peeled and chopped
1 Cup Milk of Choice (Almond milk is our favorite)
Optional: Dash of cinnamon or star anise spice
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Chill or serve over ice.
The Goji Berries give this drink such a vibrant color and unique flavor that will delight your taste buds, and make your body say “Give me more!”
Morning Smoothie
2 Very Ripe Bananas (buy discounted ripe bananas; use fresh or frozen)
Handful of berries
2 Tablespoons Flaxseed Oil or Hemp Oil
Juice of 2 Oranges (optional)
Water to desired consistency
Additions: tablespoon chocolate sauce (from Raw Cacao), Green Food Powder, handful of nuts (makes it more satisfying/filling and takes you through till lunch)
Blend all ingredients. Add ice or chill if no frozen ingredients are used.
Energizing Green Drink
This recipe needs a juicer, but is definitely worth it!
6 - 8 leaves dark green Kale
1 lemon (whole and organic – juice whole fruit)
1 apple (whole and organic – juice whole fruit)
1 cucumber (great for beautiful skin!)
Optional: thumb-size piece ginger root
Run all ingredients through a juicer, mix, (strain for smoother drink), chill, and enjoy. For best taste and greatest benefit, drink as soon as possible after preparation, or within 12 hours of making.
